Guest Requests · a trading division of AMS Administration Limited
Version 1.0 · Effective 14 September 2026
These terms govern the use of the Guest Requests service at guestrequests.co.uk and any linked address (the Service). The Service is operated by AMS Administration Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 08951774, with its registered office at Park Place, Robey Close, Linby, Nottinghamshire NG15 8AA, trading as Guest Requests ("we", "us", "our").
Please read these terms carefully. By creating or activating a wedding page you agree to them on behalf of yourself and your partner. By using a couple's request page as a guest you agree to the guest terms in section 8.
Our Privacy Policy at guestrequests.co.uk/privacy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms.
Couple means the person or people for whom a wedding page is created, and includes the account holder.
Page means the couple's song request page, its web link, dashboard and settings.
Guest means anyone who uses the page to request a song, add a dedication or like a request.
Entertainment means the band, DJ, venue or other supplier who receives the request list for the event.
Closure Date means seven days before the wedding date recorded on the page, or such other date as we agree with the couple.
Request List means the compiled list of guest requests, together with the couple's must play and do not play songs, produced when the page closes.
The Service gives a couple a personal web page where their guests can request songs and add dedications before the wedding, a dashboard to manage those requests, and a Request List delivered to the couple and their Entertainment when the page closes.
Requests made through the Service are primarily for the disco or recorded music played between live sets. Where the couple has booked a band through us and that band has provided a live request set, requests matching that set are flagged for the band. Nothing in the Service obliges any band, DJ or venue to play any requested song, and we make no promise that any particular song will be played. Decisions about what is performed or played on the night rest with the Entertainment and the couple.
We may improve or change the features of the Service from time to time. We will not remove a feature that materially reduces the value of the Service to a couple whose page is live without reasonable notice.
Included with a booking. Where a couple books entertainment through AMS Administration Limited or one of its trading divisions, a page is created automatically once the first payment for the booking is received, at no extra charge. The couple receives an email with a personal link to open their account. The page is a benefit of the band booking; if the booking is cancelled, the page and all data linked to it are deleted.
Purchased directly or by code. A couple who has not booked entertainment through us may create a page by paying the fee shown on the Service at the time, or by entering an activation code we have issued. Fees are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken in full before the page is activated. Activation codes are single use, non transferable and may carry an expiry date.
One page per wedding. A page is for a single event on a single date. We may refuse or remove a page that is used for any other purpose.
You must give accurate details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for anything done through your account and for keeping your sign in details private. Tell us at once if you think your account has been used without permission.
The personal link in your welcome email opens your account and should not be forwarded. Once your page is live, its guest web link is locked so that links you have already shared keep working; contact us if it must change.
You are responsible for the welcome message, photograph, song lists and any other content you add to your page, and for the guest names and email addresses you enter. You confirm that you have the right to use any photograph you upload and that your guests are content for you to invite them through the Service.
You are responsible for reviewing guest requests. You may keep or decline any request from your dashboard, and declined requests are removed from your page and left off the Request List. You may also switch on moderation so that requests appear publicly only after you approve them.
You must not use the Service to send unsolicited email, to collect data about guests for any purpose other than your wedding, or to publish anything unlawful, offensive or infringing.
Your page stops accepting requests on the Closure Date. At closure we send the Request List by email to you, to our team and, where booked entertainment is recorded on your page, to its administrator, together with a private handover link that opens a phone friendly version of the list with no sign in. A reminder with the same link is sent the day before the wedding.
The handover link is unguessable but is not password protected, so that it can be passed to whoever runs the disco. Anyone holding the link can view the Request List and tick songs as played. Please share it only with people involved in running your event.
If your wedding date changes, update it on your dashboard or tell us before the original Closure Date. We cannot reopen a page for new requests after the Request List has been delivered without your written request, and we may not be able to recall a list already sent.
We will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care and will try to keep it available at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and will restore it as soon as we reasonably can.
Emails are sent to the addresses on your page and on our records. We are not responsible for emails that are not received because an address is wrong, a mailbox is full, or a message is filtered as spam. You can always see your requests and download your Request List from your dashboard.
The Service depends on third party providers for hosting, email and automation. We choose them with care but are not liable for their failures beyond what section 11 allows.
By using a couple's page you agree to these guest terms. You may request up to ten songs from each device and may like each request once. You must give a name the couple will recognise and must not request or post anything that is abusive, discriminatory, obscene, defamatory or unlawful, or that impersonates another person.
Your name, requests and dedications are shown to the couple and passed to their Entertainment on the night. Song titles and popularity may be shown to other guests. The couple may decline any request without giving a reason.
We may remove content and block a device that breaks these terms. Requests are suggestions only; no song is guaranteed to be played.
You keep ownership of the content you add to your page. You give us a non exclusive, royalty free licence to host, display and send that content for the purpose of providing the Service, including passing it to your Entertainment.
The Service, its software, design, name and logo belong to AMS Administration Limited or its licensors. You may not copy, adapt or resell any part of the Service. Song titles and artist names on the Service are used for identification only.
Pages included with an entertainment booking are governed by the booking terms for that engagement; cancelling the booking deletes the page and everything linked to it, and no separate refund applies because no separate fee was paid.
For pages purchased directly, you have the right to cancel within fourteen days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and receive a full refund, unless you have activated the page and shared it with guests within that period, in which case you acknowledge that the Service has begun with your agreement and the fee is not refundable. After fourteen days the fee is not refundable except where we have failed to provide the Service.
We may close a page and end these terms if you breach them and do not put matters right within seven days of our asking, or immediately if the breach is serious. We will refund any fee paid for the unused part of the Service if we end these terms for our convenience.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
We are not liable for any loss that was not foreseeable when these terms were entered into, for loss of enjoyment, or for any business loss. Our total liability to a couple for all claims arising from the Service is limited to the greater of the fee paid for the page and £250. Our liability to a guest is limited to £100.
We are not responsible for the performance of any band, DJ or venue, for the songs they choose to play, or for the conduct of guests. Those matters are governed by the couple's separate arrangements with the Entertainment, including any separate booking terms.
Each of us will comply with UK data protection law. We act as controller of the personal data processed through the Service as described in our Privacy Policy. Where you enter guests' details, you confirm that you are entitled to share them with us for the purpose of the wedding.
These terms are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. We may transfer our rights under these terms to another company in our group or to a buyer of the business; you may not transfer yours without our consent.
We may update these terms. The current version is published on the Service with its effective date. Changes that materially affect a live page will be notified to the couple by email and will not reduce the Service they have already paid for.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their home courts.
